My Versa Lite is constantly showing an elevated heart rate. I checked my heart rate using another Fitbit and a pulseoximeter and my heart rate was significantly lower. I tried turning the FitBit on and off, and when that did not work, I tried a factory reset. Nothing else seems to be wrong with it. Any ideas?

Hi there, @Cryssasky2003. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa Lite before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from.
Please note that heart-rate tracking can be affected by several factors including air temperature and device location on your arm For more information, see What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?
Hope this helps.

I have the same issue, I did the same thing as Cryssasky2003. I even checked the device location on my arm. My heart rate on my watch is 183 and i am sitting calmly on my chair. Is there something wrong with my versa lite?

This has nothing to do with the user. It is an issue with Fitbit. I was informed by customer service that it was an issue that was suppose to be fixed but clearly has not. Why do you not mention the same things as the Fitbit customer service and acknowledge it’s a known issue and it is being worked on? I am so frustrated with this issue. This is a company that should have the capability to fix such issue easily.

Just started getting this issue overnight. Basically the device is useless for any calorie or workout level tracking at the moment.
What's the update on this or should I just look for another non Fitbit tracker?

HEY FITBIT, what's the update on this?! My watch says that I was in the 150BPM range for the last 3 hours while eating breakfast and working so looks like this issue is still around.

I called Fitbit who tried a few things to fix it and they couldn’t. So they gave me a coupon for another Fitbit. 30% off is all. I bought an iWatch instead.
