Versa Lite keeps lighting up whenever I roll over in bed

My versa light keeps lighting up when I roll over in bed at night and the light is so bright and never used to do that. I used to turn it on if I tapped it or hit the side button help.

Hi there, @Ctcorbett. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the inconvenience with your Versa Lite. I understand how annoying this can be.

As per the description of your post, it seems that you've accidentally turned on the screen wake feature. Screen wake works the following way:

  • When you set Screen Wake to Auto (Motion), the screen turns on each time you turn your wrist.
  • When you set Screen Wake to Manual (Button), press the button to turn on the screen.

You can't set Screen Wake to Auto (Motion) if you turn on always-on display or sleep mode.

With the above being said, if you want to adjust this setting, please swipe down from the top of your screen. After your notifications appear, swipe down again to open the control center. Tap the quick settings icon. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

As a friendly suggestion, if you get bothered by the screen light during your sleep time, try using the sleep mode on your Verse Lite to prevent this from happening. More information about this feature can be also found in the help article I've shared with you above.

Thanks so much now I have another problem. I accidentally tapped on sleep as my focus goal when I’d rather seeing the big circle with steps how do I change that back?

May you live all the days of your life.
