Versa Lite keeps showing heart rate really high

This always happens while I am doing light walking.  We check my heart rate with my blood pressure machine, and manually with a stop watch, and the numbers are never as high as what the Fitbit says.  It's been showing 120, 130, today it showed 165.  The other readings give 70, or 80.  Never above 100
