Versa Lite not getting notifications nor auto tracking workout

Good morning,

My Fitbit versa lite stopped receiving text notifications to my phone and has also stopped auto tracking my Elliptical workouts.

So far I have restarted both the watch and phone, removed and reloaded the app, checked the notification settings on the watch and confirmed Bluetooth connectivity.

(Steps are still tracking and logged on Fitbit app/website)

Any help is really appreciated.

I'd like to follow up and would like to know if your Versa Lite is still unable to receive text notifications and track your Elliptical workouts or if the issues have been resolved. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

In the meantime, please follow the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article may contain steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. Also, let me know what is the brand and model of your phone.

Regarding the Elliptical workout issue, please make sure that you are following the steps that are described in this help page in order to track your workouts.

Good morning,

The text notification issue has been resolved.

As of this morning it is still not auto detecting my Elliptical workout which is usually 25-30 minutes.

I confirmed that the Auto Exercise Recognition is turned on and I lowered the Elliptical time to 10 minutes.

Thank you for the resources to check over and I will make an update tomorrow if the problem is fixed or not.
