Versa Lite not keeping the correct time

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My versa lite is less than one year old.  Just recently I noticed the time was off, and not by a set amount as if it was in a different time zone.  I tried syncing it and initially that worked, but it happened again the next day.  That time when I tried to sync it the app on my IphoneX could not find the device.  I tried several of the troubleshooting tips, restarting the fitbit, shutting off and turning on bluetooth on my phone, restarting my phone, deleting the app and reinstalling it, deleting the device and attempting to reset it.   None of these things have worked.

Has anyone had this experience?  How did you resolve it

Hi @laneym13, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

I'd like to follow up and help you with your Versa Lite since it's not displaying the correct time. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, setup your Versa Lite from scratch and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
