I just bought my Versa Lite and got it going wed. The heart rate and steps doesn’t seem to be reading right. When I walk and count my steps the watch says a way higher number. How do I fix this

Is this slurring a walk outside with your arms swinging on a natural way?

It’s just walking normal. Like I walk from my bedroom to my kitchens it says 20 steps. Ok that might be correct but I make that trip a few times and out in my garage and it says I have walked 200 and something and I know that not correct. It says I have walked 4 thousand steps today and that’s nowhere near right cuz I haven’t walked no where near that much

That is why I ask about what shows when in a true walk.
Walking around the house, while doing things with your hands will usually add false steps.
The tracker is on the arm and looking at arm motions, not foot steps.
