Versa Lite not tracking sleep, I've tried everything

I've had the Versa Lite for 17 days and it has not tracked sleep for 7 of them. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8, I have read and tried the solutions on ALL the forum posts here (there are A LOT), and nothing has changed. I've tried reset, turn off/on, wear tighter, update, it is not getting caught on my sheets. Before bed I hit "Begin Sleep Now" and when I wake up and hit "I'm Awake", it loads and then shows a fully blue screen with spikes of red or light blue, and the sleep time is inaccurate.  So far the only thing wrong with my device is the sleep tracking. Everything else works just fine. But before I go exchange it for a new one, I'm considering going with a different brand entirely because of the numerous issues in these forums. I would hate to get stuck in a constant loop of exchanging due to all the other problems I'm seeing reports of on here. It's an expensive item, so I am surprised at all the issues people are having.

@RonyL That's not right.  Is the heart rate sensor working?  Do you have a heart rate being recorded?  Are you sleeping for more than 3+ hours each night?

@RonyL You should not have to hit "Begin Sleep Now", it should automatically track sleep naturally.  Have you tried just letting it track sleep without going into the app to "Begin Sleep Now".  I have never tracked a night of sleep through the app.  I just let my watch track it all and when I wake up and sync, it records all my sleep data.

On the days that I did not hit Begin Sleep Now through the app, it did not track my sleep, that is why I started using the app before bed because I thought maybe it needed to know to start tracking. So that is not the issue. Whether I start sleep through the app or just fall asleep without using the app, the results are the same; a fully blue screen with a few thin lines of red or lighter blue.
