Versa Lite not tracking steps and distance

I have my fitbit versa lite 3 weeks now and today found out it is not recording my distance or steps correct, it is connected to my phone gps. Is there something else I can do to get a more accurate reading? Thanks for any advice!

Please restart your Versa Lite as described in this help article. Also, I'd like to share this help article, which explains how your Fitbit device tracks your data. Finally, monitor your watch for the next 24 hours and see if the data is accurate.
