I've had my versa Lite for a few months now, and recently I started wearing it again and during my work days, I don't wear it on my wrist, due to pushing a cart at work and operating an RF Scanner, so I picked up an ankle strap to at least get a small estimate of steps. The steps are pretty in sync with my phone which I carry in my pocket, so I am confident in that total. Anyway, when I don't wear it on my wrist, I have noticed that my calories burned stays at the BMR levels of when I don't wear it at all until close to midnight when it adds hundreds all at once. On Saturday I didn't work, wore it in my wrist, ended up at 2100 calories for the day with the hours I did the steps accurately, and that was with only 3000 steps. Today, it is only noon, and I have walked 12000 steps, and it still has me at the BMR rate of 880 calories so far, and my Fitbit is syncing every hour. It also isn't syncing that I have hit my 250 steps every hour.
I am trying to lose weight right now, so linked to my weight loss app, the sudden added calories throws off my daily intake a lot. Is there a solution to this?
I use a Moto G7 phone, and everything is up to date.
