I changed my charge 3 a month ago for a Versa Lite as I heard good reviews and had lots of bother with the charge 3.
Yesterday morning my Versa wouldn’t sync for the first time since I got it. I done a soft reset and this did not solve the problem. The time had gone out of sync so I tried one more time with a soft reset but again no luck. I then done a factory reset. Since then my Fitbit will not update and just keeps saying to download the app. I have tried the following to no avail:
1. made sure IOS on iPhone is up to date.
2. Made sure app is up to date.
3. Switched Bluetooth on and off.
4. Forgot device on phone and app then relinked.
The update seems to get at 98% and will go no further. I have been attempting this for nearly 48 hours. Any advice?
I am getting very fed up of the Fitbit product and have began telling people not to bother purchasing them. I am debating on going back to the shop and hoping that my insurance of the watch covers getting the money back. Such a shame as when it works, it is a good product.

I have the same issue, though on an Android phone, running Android 10. My firmware update keeps failing. This watch is now useless. It's been 2 days since I've been trying to get it to update to latest firmware. Is there any solution? Or has my investment in Fitbit gone straight to the bin?!

Thank you for your reply but I think I now have my heart set on taking the product back and getting my money back. I feel like I just keeping having bad luck with the products 😔
Devastated as I did like the device for my gym workouts and running l; but can’t do this anymore with the not working.

Yes, you're right. The quality just doesn't exist no more. Too much of inconvenience. Never going to recommend Fitbit to anyone nor making a mistake buying one. I just bought it for tracking my sleep 😔
