Versa Lite- notification service not running.

Bought this Versa Lite- in November, since then trying all the suggestion given on the forum to get the notifications.  It worked once for a week, and gone again.  Now it's not even syncing, until unless I do it manually.  Phone restart may be required is the default msg on my app.  The threads dated Sept/ Oct 2019, was answered by Fitbit saying, working on it.  Any update?

mine was a gift that I got in January... notifications worked for a week then stopped working... And its too late to exchange it. I thought the update would have solve it but nothing works.

Everyone is having a problem with the Versa lite, it is the watch itself , but no one at FITBIT , cares just tells you they are working on it.
