I’m looking at a new Fitbit that is waterlroof and I’m deciding between the new Versa Lite and the Charge 3, I like the white Charge 3 that is Special Edition.
Any comments on which one is better? I see a lot of complaints on this board about the Versa.
My Alta HR is still working ok but I think it’s time for an upgrade.

If the versa lite is anything like the regular versa, there may be issues with it syncing with your phone. Even though my phone is a compatible device, I have issues every single day.

Hello @MoeMoe1,
It seriously depends on what kind of person you are. For example I am a smartwatch type and for my Ionic is perfect. My wife is instead using the Versa (regular version of course) and she is very happy (by the way she has no problem of sync)
I would personally go for the Versa Lite that represent a more more meaningful upgrade from your Alta HR.
Either you chose happy stepping!

Hi @MoeMoe1 It is hard to advise someone as they are both attractive trackers and both work well. I would probably say go for the Versa Lite as it is more of a smart watch than the Charge 3. I also have no trouble syncing my Versa.
Just to throw another idea in - how about the Inspire HR? I have just got mine and it is great - a big improvement on the Alta HR and much more versatile in my mind but still a small and very comfortable (and waterproof) tracker.

I’m having the same debate with myself, but I own the Charge HR 2. It’s great, but like you I’m looking for an upgrade. I’m swaying more to the Versa Lite. It sounds like it will do everything I want it to apart from tracking any floors climed or tracking swim laps. Bearing in mind most of my exercise is walking, not having these options available is not a problem. I’m not bothered about no music either, from what I’ve been reading putting music in the normal Versa sounds tricky.

I decided on the Versa Light in white and silver. I only got it yesterday but I love it, I charged it and it synced with my past data. I have the app on my iPad. Everything works well and I had set the alarm and it woke me up on time.
it was a good choice. I’ll keep the Alta HR as a back up.
Tha ks for th comments....

Will do and I don’t know about how long it can be submerged in water, I hadnt thiught about that. I will use it for swimming and aqua fit but hadn’t thought of a length of time...more research required I guess.
