Versa Lite owners: are you tracking floors climbed?

I'm considering getting a Versa Lite and I have a question: can you track floors climbed when your Versa Lite is connected to a phone? I know that this is possible with the Versa's (not Lite's) on-board GPS. But if the Versa Lite is connected to a phone, maybe you get floors-climbed tracking too.

On this forum, I see a lot of complaints and problem-reports for the Versa Lite. But I guess that happy customers do not come here, and the overwhelming majority are happy customers. How are you doing with your Versa Lite?

I'm afraid you can't track floors via the phone. Fitbits track floors by detecting changes in air pressure rather then using GPS. To keep the price down they excluded the sensor from the Lite version.

I currently use the Versa so can't comment on the Lite other than to say my niece has one and seems very happy with it.

I wanted to upgrade from my very old fitbit one, which tracks floors climbed. I was looking at the versa lite as the other features on the versa weren't of interest to me (pay and music etc). Considering the price of the lite, I would have expected floors climbed to be included, disappointing.
