I've had my Versa Lite since this past May. I've never had any issues with the distance or pace I've walked, jogged or run - until today. Due to bad weather I did some walking indoors and noticed that about 40-50 seconds into my walk, my pace was recorded as lengthening bizarrely. I'm talking going from 20'45" to 40', then suddenly jumping to 70' and finally to about 90' (there is NO way this is actually happening when I walk...my pace is pretty uniform!) before it suddenly shows a couple of small dashed lines where the pace should be. When this happens the distance I've walked stops being tracked accurately as well. This morning I walked my usual amount which ends up being about 3.5 miles. The total only ended up being 1.17 because of this. A few times I had to end the exercise and start a new one. It would start off accurately, but again the pace would suddenly jump higher and then end up as dashed lines.
I suppose it's possible that since I'm indoors the GPS could be wonky (although it says "connected" right before I start the exercise and never gives any indication of being disconnected), but I've never had this situation before. Any idea what could be causing it?
(and before anyone says it, I did search for this topic but none of the results I found had this exact same issue)
