my versa lite had an update and no longer works i have tried a factory reset uninstalling from my phone just keep gettin a red X it has been plugged into my laptop now for about 23 hours this is my 2nd one in less than 3 months

Let me share with you that the reason why your Versa Lite is showing the red X on its display is because the firmware update process wasn't completed. That said, I recommend you to learn more about how to update the firmware version of your Fitbit device with the information that's specified on this help article.
