Versa Lite restarts itself every 20 minutes

My husband got me a versa lite for my birthday last July. It was restarting itself quite a bit starting in December, so I tried a factory reset which failed. I spent multiple hours on the phone with customer support and ended up receiving a new one. I have only had this new device for about a month and it is already restarting itself more often than the first one I had. It turns off every 20 minutes or so. When I push the side button nothing happens and then it shows the fitbit logo for up to 2 minutes and then vibrates when it finally turns back on which is distracting. I am afraid to try a factory reset because of what happened with the first one that I had and I need my watch as I work in a daycare and need to know the time to keep track of diaper changes and feedings. Help! Please!

@AKoeppel, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa Lite restarts by itself often.

Please try a regular restart. To do so on your device, please follow the steps listed in this help article. After this, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.

Ok. Thanks. I just restarted it manually and despite the clock face being a Fitbit design I changed it to another Fitbit design. We shall see what happens. All of this restarting is really draining the battery quickly.

I think restarting it and changing the clock made it worse... I was only able to see what time it was 3 times today when I checked and I have to check a lot... if the screen wasnt displaying the fitbit logo it was not lighting up at all and it was vibrating quite frequently with no notifications. I am getting very frustrated with it.  😑
