Versa Lite screen went black

my versa lite fitbit has a mind of its own at the moment the screen is black and i have no hr light.... i have chargerd it all last night and when i connect to my app it tells me its 100% charged and it needs an update, i have updated it about 5 times now and everytime it just keeps going back to start update and my screen is still black.... i have no idea what is going on anyone else had this problem?

@brrookeoliiaro, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa Lite since the screen went black. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

 

Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the display works properly.
