My versa lite has been acting funny for weeks! It’s like it’s updating (shuts off and comes back on) and I believe it has something to do with the oxygen readings. Before the oxygen readings it never happened. Last night I noticed the screen is completely dark but the device still works. I have an iPhone that it is connected to.

Hi there @jillylaine8, it's nice to see you around the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your Versa Lite.
Please restart your Versa Lite as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
Regarding the Spo2, please see How do I track my estimated oxygen variation in the Fitbit app? and How do I track blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) with my Fitbit device?

It didn’t help. I tried to take the device off and put back on again but it is asking for a number on my Fitbit screen and I can’t see anything..so now I’ve got nothing connected.

@jillylaine8 I appreciate you had followed the tips and recommendations provided above. Since this sounds a bit more serious, I've created a support case on your behalf - you should receive an email from Customer Support at the email you used to register with the Community forums. Note that we may take a bit long to get back to you since due to recent events affecting our operations, support options are limited and wait times are longer than usual.
