Versa Lite screen won't turn on

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

my fitbit versa lite has a black screen. no matter what i do i can not get the screen to come on. the tracker is still working and this problem began yesterday before i updated the tracker. I can plug it in and charge it and i can plug it into the computer and see that it is indeed working but the tracker has not screen. seeing as half the reason i use it is for its watch face this makes it very frustration to keep.

Hi @Sharea405, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'd like to follow up and help you with your Versa Lite since the screen is not turning on.

Please restart your Versa Lite as described in this help article. After this, check out if the display of your watch turns on and works properly.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I am having the same problem. With a full battery my screen stopped working while hiking. Still vibrates, but just a black screen. I have reset, recharged, synced, updated and nothing has worked. Very disappointed and frustrated that we don’t even have an option to contact customer service. I’ve been wearing a Fitbit for almost 6 years but it looks like I will be making a change.

Same random thing happened to mine-after just waking up to a black screen. It’s been a few days now, still won’t do anything. Fitbit emailed me & said they are sending a replacement. Mine was only a couple months old. I see so many people with the same issue..

How did you email them? I can't find where to contact them. I have had mine
for 2 years .

No, they don’t have a contact. All they tell you is to get on community or tweet them.

Well with all the replies on here and no solution from fitbit, i think i will just start looking for a competitor. I have had fitbit for like 7 years and this versa for about 2 but im tired of the products timing out (or being seemingly bricked) after iv had them for a few years. Id love a replacement but im not being replied to.

I spoke to them earlier and they pretty much said there was nothing they
could do that it was a software issue and offered me a 25 % discount. It
gets me is that it still vibrates when i get a text or phone call but my
alarm goes off twice a day and I can't turn them off cause the screen is
black. Not very Happy.

That is what is happening with mine too. Everything seems to be working and i can even connect on the app to check the battery level but a black screen makes the fitbit useless.

At least you were offered a discount, im just being ignored. I think ill switch brands after this if they continue to ignor me.

Is there any fix or advise on how to get my screen to turn back on? Is this a known problem? Should i just give up on Fitbit?
