Versa Lite screen won't turn on

Versa Lite went berserk this morning. The screen wouldn't turn on and was unresponsive to button tap. Then it went to the Fitbit logo startup screen but the logo was squished looking. It stayes on that for a few minutes and went black. It won't do anything now. I don't think its on because its not syncing to the app either. I've tried holding button down 3 times for various times from 10 seconds to 30 seconds and nothing happens.

Hi @Rebekah123456, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Versa Lite since the screen won't turn on and it just says stuck on the Fitbit logo. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

 

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

Finally, set up your watch from scratch and see if the issue gets fixed.

The logo disappeared and the screen isn't on at all. When I hold the back button down nothing happens.
