I have a brand-new out-of-the-box versa lite edition. I opened it and turned it on and it has a big red x and says data not cleared sync and try again. I have tried factory resetting it I have tried Bluetooth connecting it I have tried everything I cannot get this to work what do I do?!

Please help me try your fix. We have tried 2 days on phone can't update firmware. We have a laptop. Please email me instructions m_m2005@shaw.ca
