My fit bit versa lite is showing a red X and the message: Data not cleared Sync & try again message. I cant get passed this screen. It wont sync when in the app either shows a red exclamation point. I have deleted the Fitbit app on my phone and unpaired it from bluetooth. I'm on a Samsung s9.

I had the same issue in the past myself. The way I resolved this was to go into the fitbit app in my phone and remove the device from there, I also went into the Bluetooth settings on my phone and unpaired it from there. I was then able to go back into the Fitbit app - set up device - and proceed to set up the device again.

I am having the same problem. Tried removing the fitbit lite on the app, unpaired the Bluetooth device and setup the Fitbit again but it gets to step 2 of 3 in downloading and won't progress any further. The message "Data not cleared sync & try again" displays on the Fitbit then.

I have done that and now I can't synch the fitbit either.

I had the same issue this weekend and it took several attempts at troubleshooting in order to get the watch working again. Along with a screen that stops working intermittently. I can push the button, rotate my arm, tap on the screen...nothing. I am requesting a replacement watch.

I have followed the instructions in this chat and it still did not work. 😡 if they can not help me fix this issue to use my Fitbit they need to replace it as I have not had it but a few months.

I am also having the same issue. Turned Bluetooth off. Un-installed app. Turned Bluetooth back on. Re- installed app. Attempt to update (IPhone XR) Data not cleared sync and try again. So frustrating. How do you fix this?

This did not fix the problem I am still getting the data not cleared message, I have removed the app and removed from my Bluetooth three times and I still get the message.
