Versa Lite still hasn't been updated and it won't sync to my iPhone

How long will we have to wait for an update that will allow my Fitbit versa lite to sync and stay connected to my iPhone 8plus???? It’s been more then just a few days. The time on my Fitbit isn’t correct, it won’t sync data and I am getting g really frustrated and ready to switch to an Apple Watch. This really sucks. I thought I really liked my Fitbit. 😞🙁
