Versa Lite stopped working after getting wet

Hello all,

Hoping someone may have a different suggestion for me. We just spent a week at the lake and I forgot one day to take my fitbit versa lite off. I was never fully under water just got hit by it while sitting on the beach and my fit bit got wet. I have tried the follow to fix it and nothing seems to be working...

1. I put in rice for a full day
2. I gently cleaned with a dry qtip
3. I restarted the watch
4. I let it charge for 4 hours.
5. I tried changing my clock face but it won't connect to the app to do so ( the current clock face I had on it before thus was a fitbit sponsored clock face)

Now my watch is not actually charging, it bounces between a red triangle and explanation point and then it flashes the fit bit symbol.over and over. I don't see any leftover water on the screen or sensory but it still won't charge or work. I'm hoping someone here can help me fix the issue.

Thank you in advance

Hi @MegLizWilliams - unfortunately once water has done internal damage it rarely will work properly or at all.

It's a great watch but they don't make it anymore.

The best alternative is to get a Versa 2 in the shops as presumably it is no longer under warranty.
