Versa Lite stuck on message "Data not cleared Sync & Try again"

Versa lite stuck on data not cleared, sync and try again. The Red Cross won’t go away and I’ve tried all the ideas mentioned. Could someone help! 🙏

Hi there @pauanui2005, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot your Versa Lite prior to posting here, I understand where your concern is coming from. I'm here to help you. 

 

Please note that the error message you're receiving on your watch's screen usually appears when you've performed a factory reset without first unpairing the watch from your Fitbit account. With that being said, I'd recommend the following to solve the issue:

 

  • Remove your Versa Lite from your Fitbit account and unpair it from your phone's Bluetooth.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Versa Lite again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa Lite.

 

If you can't get started with your Versa Lite, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

My Versa Lite is stuck on red x. Says data not cleared sync try again. I've tried every step recommended with no luck. Been on phone support multiple times. Very frustrated. Any advice? I'm ready to throw in garbage or try and return....Worked perfect for first 10 months.....Thanks.
