Versa Lite stuck on message "Data not cleared Sync & Try again"

Versa Lite’s screen got stuck with a msg, “Reset Failed, Your data was not cleared. Please try again. Okay.” Now frozen, cannot touchscreen, cannot get rid of this msg, cannot proceed. Very serious problem now after installing the latest Fitbit app update ! 😡😡😡
