Versa Lite stuck on "Data not cleared, sync & try again"

I have tried every single step suggested in the previous threads that mentioned this problem. I have factory reset the device 8-10 times in the last month. I have unpaired/paired bluetooth, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. NOTHING WORKS. I purchased this 15 months ago! Come on! Will a Fitbit representative please respond with additional suggestions to fix?
