Versa Lite stuck on "To start download the Fitbit app" message

Can you reset your Fitbit Versa Lite?  After I tried syncing my Versa Lite , it went back to the beginning wanting me to download the Fitbit app again.

Hi there, @Brandy2006. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa Lite. 

Do you still have issues? Did you follow @Guy_'s suggestions?

If the issue is still going on, please try doing the following:

 

  • Make sure you've removed your Versa Lite from your Fitbit account and from your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Versa Lite again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa Lite.

 

If you can't get started with your Versa Lite, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

@Brandy2006  - that means you did a factory reset and everything on the watch was removed and reset to like when you got it.

You will have to setup your watch all over again - How do I set up my Fitbit device?
