Versa Lite suddenly dead

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi, I couldn’t find any threads about the Versa Lite going dead. It was at 92% battery life this morning, and tracked my run until about 3 hrs ago. Now the screen is blank, nothing flashes on the back, and putting it on the charger did nothing.

I tried resetting by holding down the button for at least 10 seconds several times, but no love yet.  I only use it with my iPhone, no computer.

i just got this for Christmas, and was really starting to enjoy it! I did a FW update, but that was when I first took it out of the book.

Please advise soonest. Unhappy. 😞

Hi there @madharper, thanks for sharing your experience with your watch. Glad to hear our team helped you to get back on track, though.

Hello @Khaskhist, thanks for the update. I totally understand where you're coming from. Let's test it's behavior and see how it goes. I'm always around, so keep me post and I will be glad to continue assisting you. 😉

I'm on my third! But this will be my last if it does it again. Each time it
died exactly one month after purchase. I think I have a few days left for
this one!

Have had this Fitbit versa lite since last summer. Yes it all the time. Just this week July 28th, I would charge it at night, good to go in the morning for work. By early afternoon the clock would die. Blank nothing. Upset because I really like it for work and walking. Thanks

Mine dies too, out of nowhere. I just charged it all night long. It was working up until 4pm then totally dead. No light flashing or anything. I put it on charger and it said 0%. I let it sit and about 30 min later, I get a low battery push notification. It had only been off the charger for 6 hours!

I just came across your comment. I purchased my versa lite from QVC on the same day as you and it just died on me last night (10/26) just a few days after having it only 1 yr. Have you had any luck getting it fixed or a replacement?

I contacted Fitbit and they asked me to send just the device and charger (keep the band, I guess for sanitary reasons). They sent me another one.
Advice: the label they give you works at USPS or FedEx. Please use FedEx. Will all the issues with the post office, hurricanes, and fires out west it took mine almost 6 weeks to get from Palm Beach, Fl to Calexico, CA. One FedEx took over I had my replacement 4 days later.
Good luck to you.

Hi. I think I bought a new one. This is my third and it has been OK. I
still have no idea why the first two died out of the blue. --

Yes - I called Fitbit- told them everything I had done. They offered to replace with same for free or 50% off another style! Very satisfied!

Hi there,
Yes I had bought a Fitbit light last May. At first it was doing what it was suppose to do. Kept good time. Then every once in a while it wouldn’t hook up with my I phone. Did talk to numerous people about it on the chat line. They had said do this or do that. We did what they said. Didn’t work. Then I got a yellow line down the right side of watch. Talked again on chat line. Then I phoned Fitbit and talked to a person and told them what had happed and told them I talked on the chat line and the guy that I was talking to said that there was no recollection of me talking on line. The watch is still not going. Did buy a new one. A Fitbit 2
Thankyou. Waiting for a response
