Versa Lite switched off suddenly and will not start

I bought fitbit Versa lite for my mother in February. It was working fine until it switched off suddenly last week. The battery was half full when the watch switched off.  I have tried everything from trying to reset it holding its side button for 8 sec (and more) and letting it charge for sometime hoping it will restart. However, the watch is still switched off and anything I try is not helping.

I have the same problem, I bought mine in January 2019 and it has worked perfectly until yesterday, when it first stopped vibrating on alarms and timers then switched off, I first assumed it had run out of charge and have had it on charge all night, but nothing seems to revive it.

Ive had this problem since Friday. I reported Saturday they told me to track stuff but it's useless cuz it won't stay on.. and haven't heard anything since then.

Well I have had a break through, This evening after trying again my versa suddenly came back to life, it had 20% charge, so had not run out as I thought, its been completely dead for 4 days.  No idea why but it seems to be ok now.    Confused !!!!!

My Versa Lite is having a similar issue. After restarting itself several times on Sunday, it has not been the same. The battery drains incredibly quickly and now the display isn't working. The display went black today around 10 but I kept wearing it. After lunch, I charged it for 3 hours and the display still won't turn on. It appears the data tracking is still somewhat functioning as the app shows my heart rate record.

Did you get any help?  What do I do?

Mine switched off last night and I can’t get it to turn back on either. I have been trying all day including resetting but no success. I just bought mine in March.

Right?! I just got mine in April. Looking back, I'm really glad I got the extended warranty.

Same here. Versa lite was working fine this morning and about 40% charge. I was working in the kitchen and checked the time and nothing. It won’t do anything. No charging. It won’t work when pushing the button. It’s just dead and I wear it all the time. I use it for my alarm. I use the timer. I use the heart monitor and the step tracker for my doctor.  This is awful. Help!

I took the advice from earlier post and tweeted them. Mine was still under
the manufacture warranty so they sending me a replacement tracker. They
gave me the option to upgrade with 50% off but I actually didn’t want to
spend more money when mine was not even 6 months old. We will see what
happens with this one.
