Versa Lite takes a while to show as connected

Slightly different issue than the posts I have read on this ... er ... update!

After updating I setup watch to record a run via bluetooth to my iPhone, takes a while to show as connected but gets there eventually (much longer than BEFORE update). As soon as I move, flicks to connecting and remains that way.

Tried the usual stuff, reboots, reloads apps, resetting bluetooth etc.

Was working great before, shouldve learnt from last mess up and "dont fix what aint broke!"

Wonder if I can rollback to previous version somehow.......

Hi @ErrolN, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Versa Lite since it didn't record your running activity and takes a long time to show as connected. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, set up your watch from scratch as instructed in this help page and see if the issues get fixed.

Regarding your question, I'm afraid that the watch can't go back to previous firmware versions.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
