Versa Lite was working before the factory reset

I do understand that Fitbit Versa lite is not warranty but before doing the factory reset my Versa Lite was working very good and if I would knew that this was going to happening I would have never done it….
Why aren’t there notes that tells us before doing the reset factory that our Fitbit may never work again…. 
I spent hours on the phone, hoping we get it started, to be told this morning that it will no longer work…..
Well it was working and very well before doing the FACTORY RESET, I feel I was mislead to wrong information and I’m being penalized for something that isn’t my fault ... now that mine is broke because of Fitbit recommendation stuck to buy another……

Hi @Lyne_Anne - quite understandable, but this is a bug with the factory reset that is not made known till it is too late. And worse there is no fix for it.

 

Why they provide a feature for users to use that doesn't always work and that can destroy the watch and then not replace it due to their error is a mystery.

 

The Versa Lite is not made anymore but the Versa 2 is very close and possibly less costly than what you paid for the Lite.

 

If you do decide to stay with Fitbit, the choice is yours, note the names of the clocks and apps you have chosen in the Gallery tile for re-installing later, if necessary, also take this into consideration when installing a new watch - Incorrect Set up of a new device it will help you set it up.
