Versa Lite won't connect to my Google Pixel phone

I have tried all of the trouble shooting tips that I can find.  I have enabled all of the settings on my phone & my Fitbit Versa Lite.  My Versa Lite is syncing to my Fitbit app on my phone, but it will not pair/connect with my phone & allow text messages & other notifications to appear on my Versa. The Versa Lite will appear on my available devices to connect to, but when I hit the connect "+" sign, nothing happens & it doesn't connect to my phone's Bluetooth.

Hi there @Jeshila, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry for the late response.

While reading your post I was wondering if the Google Pixel device you're syncing with is included in our list of supported devices? You can see the list at: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.

If your mobile devices are compatible, please follow the troubleshooting steps provided in the help article: Why are notifications delayed or missing?

Give this a go and let me know the outcome.

Hi @MarreFitbit I faced with same issue as @Jeshila . I've connected my Fitbit Versa Lite to Fitbit App on my Google Pixel, so data in the app is updating and syncing, but I don't receive any notifications from my phone (calls are displayed), also I can't control music on my phone - when I click on button on the left side of Fitbit Versa Lite, it's displaying "Connect phone" message, even if my phone is connected.

I've verified list of supported devices, Google Pixel is listed there. Also I followed troubleshooting steps with no result.

Looking forward for your advice.

Hi there @GrandmasterBit, welcome on board. Thanks for the details provided and for taking the time to try the troubleshooting steps I've provided above.

In regards to the music on your Versa Lite, please note that this feature isn't available on Fitbit Versa Lite Edition.

If your Google Pixel is supported and the steps recommended didn't work, please try the troubleshooting steps from the article: What should I know about using the Fitbit app on my Android phone?

I hope this helps, keep me posted.

Hi @MarreFitbit thank you for fast response.

Regardind music - I'm not talking about storing songs on my Fitbit Versa Lite, I meant switching songs or stopping them while they are playing on my phone, this feature was mentioned while I was setting up my Versa Lite first time.

I've followed steps in article you sent, they didn't help me. By the way, problem is not for all notifications - as I mentioned before, notification is displayed on Versa Lite when I'm receiving a call, also I can see notifications from my Gmail client. But I don't see notifications from any massenger - e.g. SMS, Viber, Skype, Telegram. So this functionality is partly working.

@MarreFitbit thank you for the link, is was very useful for me. Now I'm able to control music on my Google Pixel via Fitbit Versa Lite. For anyone else, faced with same problem - here are steps, because they may not be obvious:
1. On your Fitbit Versa Lite go to Settings -> Bluetooth -> Pair (not "On")

2. On your Google Pixel go to Bluetooth -> Search for new device -> Conncet to "Versa Lite (Classic)" (not just "Versa Lite")

Looking forward for software update to catch all phone notifications and display them on my smartwatch.
