Versa Lite won't connect to my phone again

Hi there my versa just stopped connecting up with the app yesterday morning, I tried turning off Bluetooth and turning back on then disconnected from Bluetooth and pairing back up again, then last night I deleted my versa from the app to try and reconnect it again, the app can find my versa but can't connect to it repeatedly says try again, it's fully charged and I've also had it on charge while trying to connect but just can't seem to get it to work, please help 🙈

Hi there @Rachael21, welcome on board. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa Lite before reaching out.

Before anything else, I'd like you to make sure that the mobile phone you're using is included here Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported and does not meet the require OS we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.

In addition to the steps you tried, please do the following:

If you haven't done so yet, please try the steps below:

  • Remove your Versa Lite from phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Versa Lite again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa Lite.

For more troubleshooting steps, see Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

Let me know how it goes.

Thank you I literally turned my phone off for a few minutes, then once I turned it back on it reconnected no problem, not sure why I didn't think of that 🙈 but thank you for your reply x
