Versa Lite won't connect with phone

I've recently tried to update my Versa Lite. As soon as the update started it got about halfway the "failed to sync" and now will not turn on or connect to my phone. I've tried googling how to factory reset it totally but nothing that I have tried has worked. Help!

@SunsetRunner, welcome to our Fitbit Community! Regarding the firmware update and syncing issue that your Fitbit Versa Lite is experiencing, I appreciate the time spent trying to get the issue resolved before contacting our forums.

 

I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they provided some instructions via email recently.

 

Please check out your email account and follow the steps the recommended for this issue. In case the issue persists, reply to their email and they'll be glad to follow up and assist you accordingly.
