Versa Lite won't pair with bluetooth AT ALL

It has been nearly 2 weeks now since my Fitbit Versa Lite stopped syncing with my Moto E5 plus android phone. I spent a week doing all the trouble shooting up to and including reinstalling the fitbit app and telling my phone to forget the connection. Now I have spent a week trying to get my watch to pair with my bluetooth. It absolutely will not. I've even attempted with both devices plugged in/charging/full charge/sitting on top of each other. Worst I get is my phone reverts to the bluetooth screen showing my Versa Lite as "available", best I get is a message saying I need to make sure my Versa Lite is in pairing mode. Can't find anything like that and it's been over a year since I bought it and had to originally do this. The app version is 3.37.1, watch version 38.72.1.9. I really don't want to have to do a factory reset because every firmware update since I bought it has taken hours to do. I'd rather not spend a week doing updates.

Hi @Malephus what message are you getting when trying to pair the Versa to your phones Bluetooth. 

Your tracker is a Bluetooth low energy device and should be rejecting your attempts, tellingvyouvtobuse the Fitbit app. 

Telling the phone to forget the connection is fine. 

Now open the Fitbit app and omw fee minutes the Fitbit app will request permission to pair the tracker to the phone.

I was in the same boat.  I tried everything everyone recommended with no success.  After 2 weeks I finally gave up and reset watch to factory mode,  I had to uninstall app from my phone and then reinstall.   It did take a few hours to reinstall but now everything is back up and running.  I was surprised all my previous data and downloads were still there and intact.

This is annoying laughable. The very day I actually get a response from someone on a help type venue is the day my watch and phone pair like they were soul mates 😲 🤣 Thanks for trying to help anyway.

Literally, after over 2 weeks, my phone and watch pair like nothing ever was wrong. So very happy but also annoyed as all heck. LOL
