Fitbit wouldn't sync, removed from Bluetooth and now tracker cannot repair, Bluetooth cannot find versa lite, I have uninstalled n reinstalled app 3 times, no joy, any ideas

Tried that. Doesn't work. Bluetooth won't even detect the Versa Lite. Tried shutting the Versa Lite down and restarting. No effect. Have even done a factory reset in desperation and now the Versa Lite keeps asking me to download the app....which obviously I've done! Everything I try seems to make things worse - help!
