When I got my fitbit watch i got messages on my Fitbit but now it won’t work I’ve updated it took it off my phone and started it again and still no luck

Hi there @GlitterQueen, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa Lite isn't receiving text messages from your phone, I understand where your concern is coming from. Thanks for taking the time to try solving the issue prior to posting here, I'll be glad to continue to help you.

 

While reading your post I was wondering (in case you have an iOS device) if the text messages your watch is not receiving are iMessages? I also have an iPhone and had a similar trouble with those messages, but I tried toggling the iMessage setting; general > Messages > iMessage and verified the "Show Previews" was on "Always". If this steps don't work for you, please let me now if you followed the steps provided here: Troubleshooting quick tips for iPhones.

No text messages for months now. I have sought help from Fitbit. No help not working
