Versa Lite won't reset my steps at midnight

My Versa Lite is not resetting the step count to 0 at night. For the past 3 days, it has just added to the previous count, so I now have 3 days' worth of steps counted on the device and in my app. (It does reset the # of calories burned.) Suggestions on how to get it to reset the steps properly?  I've tried connecting/charging it. Also, it often doesn't update the sleep information in the app for several days, even though I keep it close to my phone every morning for some time. Thanks.

Hi, try a Shutdown of the watch and wait 10 seconds before placing it on the charger to restart it or pushing a button, it may clear the anomaly.

 

It may be a fault with the clock face. To check swipe left till you get to the Today app and see if it shows the same number of steps as the clock face.

Thanks so much for the suggestions. The steps were the same in the today
app, but after restarting my watch, it re-set itself that night. Thanks
again.
