Versa Lite won't stay connected to my phone

I have a versa lite and I keep getting a notification that connection is lost and pairing is required, is this common ?

Hi there, @sally1308. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your Versa Lite. 

 

This shouldn't be happening, unless your Versa Lite and mobile phone are having pairing issues. With that said, please try removing the Bluetooth connection between your phone and your Fitbit device:


*On your phone, tap Settings Bluetooth > the information icon next to the name of your Fitbit device > Forget This Device.
*Open the Fitbit app and set up the connection again. You should receive a message asking you to allow your Fitbit device to pair with your phone. Tap Pair to approve the request.

 

Sync your Versa Lite automatically when you open the Fitbit app or manually by tapping your profile picture > your device tile > Sync Now.

 

If after following the steps above you're still running into syncing difficulties, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Hi, 

 

My Fitbit Versa Lite still won't connect, I have tried to factory reset the watch, unpaired on Bluetooth and uninstalled the app. When I try to reconnect it asks me to accept terms and conditions and then pair the device, when I try to pair it says that it cannot find my Fitbit, I have tried charging the watch, resetting it and nothing. 

 

I've checked several forums and tried all advice given. If there is anything I can try please let me know

Hi there, @AlannahBanana. Welcome on board. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot your Versa Lite by following all the advice from the forums. I understand how you must be feeling.

By any chance, do you use MobileTrack? If so, please note for Android users they can't use MobileTrack in addition to a Fitbit device. For more information about MobileTrack, see How do I use Fitbit MobileTrack?

If you have MobileTrack now linked to your Fitbit account you'll need to remove it in order to set up the Versa 3 so it can start syncing again. For instructions, see How do I set up my Fitbit device? 

If the syncing difficulties persist after following the above steps, confirm that you've also performed the steps provided here Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
