Hello @Smithyy11! We acknowledge the limitation we have on our part particularly on what you have experienced. We‘re taking into consideration your comments and sentiments with regards to our products and services.
Before anything else, I'd like you to make sure that the mobile phone you're using is included here Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?
Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported and does not meet the require OS we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.
Since the issue persist after trying to troubleshoot the issue with your watch, please feel free to update your case with our Support Team. They will be able to continue to work with you and review your options.
Have a nice day!

Thanks for getting back to me, I have checked if my phone is on the list and it is. I've gone on a walk and used strava to calculate my map and everything and that worked perfectly so I know its the watch/ fitbit app and not my phone. I'm gutted because I love the watch but it just doesn't fill the requirements that it says it does.
I do just want to send it back now as I've tried everything and nothing works I just don't want to keep having to Re start the watch and the app on my phone everytime I want to use it.
Only had it 3 months just very annoying
Thanks for getting back to me
