Versa Lite won't sync and it's losing time

Only had my Versa Lite 8 months and it's losing time..20 minutes of time.I tried resyncing Fitbit and reinstalling the App. Somewhere I was told it didn't work on an Android phone. Even though it was working on my phone. Also on the box it says it's compatible. At this point, I'm NOT happy.

Hi there @cawale, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa Lite isn't syncing to your phone and it's losing time. I appreciate you've taken the time to try fixing the syncing difficulties prior to posting here.

Please note that our main purpose is to avoid negative experiences to our customers, we're always willing to help and provide troubleshooting steps.

Keep in mind that your Versa Lite may be showing an incorrect time since it hasn't synced yet or if it hasn't been properly paired to your Fitbit account. Your Fitbit grabs the time of the device you're syncing with.

To see when was the last time sync or if your Versa Lite is paired, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image.

If your watch is unpaired, please set it up again by following the steps at: How do I set up my Fitbit device?. On the other hand, if your watch has not recently synced, follow these troubleshooting steps: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

With regards to your question about the compatibility of your phone, you can see the full list of the compatible devices with Fitbit at: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

Fitbit products are compatible with most devices that have the following operating systems: Apple iOS 12.2 and higher, Android OS 7.0 and higher.

Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported and does not meet the require OS we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.

Hope this helps, let me know on the outcome.

I'm having the same issue - I only got my Versa Lite a week ago. Bluetooth on the fitbit keeps turning off and need a manual reconnect everytime. Notifications don't come through when its disconnected, which defeats the purpose of having a fitbit with this feature.

How can I stop the Bluetooth from turning off?

Hello there @Jax565, welcome on board. To better assist you with your inquiry, would you mind taking a look at my post above and try the suggestions I provided? If that doesn't work, let me know the model of your phone and its current OS so I can go from there.

Keep me posted.

I have an S20+ 5G with latest OS 10 update. As mentioned, setting up the Bluetooth is not the issue - I can connect it and its fine for a bit, an hour or so but it keeps dropping out and needs a manual reconnect over and over again. I miss notifications and I can't use the features of the fitbit until I manually reconnect.

The link you provide for Why won't my Fitbit device sync? has no information for troubleshooting so not sure what the point of it is.

The website refers to the Versa, with little to no mention of Versa Lite. How do I stop the Bluetooth from disconnecting constantly?
