The versa lite tracker has worked just fine over the last several months but now when turned on only the versa icon shows then after a few seconds a red "X" with message "data not cleared sync & try again". I have rebooted both android phone and tracker plus uninstalled and reinstalled the app on phone with no result. When the phone app tries to locate tracker to sync it cannot be found. Suggestions?

Hi @sfcruffus, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the syncing issue that your Versa Lite has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get the issue resolved before contacting our forums.
I'd like you to try one more workaround, which has been helpful for this type of issues. Please try a factory reset. To do so, follow the steps below:
After this, set up your watch from scratch and see if the issue gets fixed.

I tried these step several times now with no success. I hold the button a second time and the tracker vibrates then goes blank for about 20-30 seconds then the blue fitbit logo comes back up and stays up for a longer period, about 5 extra seconds and the goes straight to the red X with "data not cleared sync and try again". I put the tracker in the charger and the only thing that is displayed is the previous stated message, no charge indicator or anything!?
