Versa Lite won't track my floors

My Versa Lite shows stairs on my dash board but nothing found on the watch. I have had it for 3 weeks, help chat said reload and probably firmware update. Didn't work, anyone know what else I can try short of returning it as defective?

Hi there @Greenone, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post, I'll be glad to help you with your inquiry regarding the floors not being tracked by your Versa Lite.

Unlike Fitbit Versa, Versa Lite doesn't track floors. Although it is designed without floor feature, your device can track as many activities as other Fitbit devices does. For more information about your Versa Lite, you can click this link: Versa Lite Edition User Manual.

I am very disappointed as I thought it did track stairs. The Tech I chatted with kept telling me it was there and it was a software issue.

Why does it show stairs on my dashboard, is there anything that can be done to change this? I bought it. There was even a video that shows floors climbed.

Why is that?
