Not tracking sleep

Hello there, @Helenmunroe16. Welcome to the Community Forums.

If you are not receiving sleep stages, please consider the following:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

To learn more about your sleep data, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device? and What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?

Hope that helps.

I have done a reset via 1st. Pushing the side but until it goes off and the logo comes on . I have done the set up device twice, and made sure the watch us tight. The app will show I was asleep from say midnight until 6 am but it says I slept 2 or 3 hrs. Yet it is not showing my score. This has been going on. For over a week! I have had issues with this watch since I got it this past June. Not happy about this.

I’ve had the same problem for months. I just gave up on it. Now my heart rate isn’t tracking and I’m getting worried about whether it’s dying. 😢
