Versa Lite won’t turn on - Possible water damage

I wore my Versa Lite in water for the first time today. When I looked down, I saw that my charged Versa had turned off. It would not turn on and there were no green lights. I tried putting it in rice and then charging it, but nothing happens. I did a support chat and still have not heard anything back. As far as a warranty, I received it as a gift a few months ago, and do not know the exact date and where it was purchased. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared, your effort troubleshooting your device before posting over here is also appreciated. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if your Versa Lite vibrates when you start charging it or is your device completely unresponsive? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
