I have a Versa Lite that is only 4 months old. Yesterday it somehow lost time. When it was 10am the watch said it was 9:50am. It is fully charged. Tried powering it off & soft rest and nothing worked. Did a factory reset this morning and now -- nothing. The screen is stuck on the watch. How do I move past this issue? Or do I need to send it back and get a replacement?
I've tried to upload a photo, but it will not let me search for it on my computer. Watch screen has a blue line on the left side and the fitbit logo. Tried holding the button to soft reset but now that is not working.
My Galaxy S9+ shows that it synced as soon as I did the rest and tried to update the watch.

Mine died at a nearly full charge and when I got it back on it had lost an hour+ 10 minutes and when i tried to sync it and it wouldn't connect to my Galaxy s9. I deleted it from the app, deleted the app from my phone, factory reset my Fitbit and restarted my phone. I re-downloaded the app and set it up as a new device and now it wont update, the update will start and then it always fails and now I cant use my Fitbit at all. its only 4 months old as well.

Did you ever get a response to your question? I am having the same problems with my Versa Lite after a factory reset. I get to almost half way done with the update, but it stops and won't continue and I have to go through all the steps again. Very Frustrating!

I'm trying to do that now but the app isn't working on my computer. I'm trying to follow the steps but none of the setting buttons I'm supposed to click on will actually register.

Hi I reset my watch made a mess couldn’t connect for awhile then did wouldn’t update then connected to pc went to fit my profile and did sync and also started update from fine same time while connected at pc I believe went back to last profile update when fone was connected on Fitbit have a go let me know Mark

My versa lite will not setup to my fit bit app on my phone after I have done a factory reset. Iv tried all the usual steps like un installing and rebooting ect but nothing works. I see many people have had this problem I wondered if anybody has solved it? Can't get through to fitbit support for any help

I also factory reset my fitbit lite yesterday and still cannot get it to setup again. It syncs, but is telling me there is a firmware update and only gets stuck at step 2 and then update failure every time no matter what I do. I tried to do a hard factory reset from the fitbit itself, but it only displays a "backup data failure" message and the fitbit logo after that. It is recording nothing from what I can see.

I was able to download 101% of the setup install today and then it crashed again. It keeps dropping and says "Data not cleared Sync and Try again".

It just continues loafing at step 2 of 3 of setting up device then after hours of leaving it, it says failed to setup.
Yes removed from Bluetooth. Restarted both devices, deleted device off of app and tried setting up new device. It connects using the number code but that's about it...

I've also tried connecting it with USB cable to a computer and my computer can't identify it. So that does nothing.

I have the same problem. After a factory reset, bluetooth not working. Tried resetting many times, tried using different devices to pair. Please help

we’re they able to help you with this? I’m having the same issue and I got it for Christmas so it’s been about 4 months. I reset it to wipe it clean and give it to my sibling and now it won’t update or do anything to get off of the Fitbit Icon.

I did a factory reset also and my watch is now 3 hours and 20 minutes behind...can't do nothing about it I guess..$160.00 and I had it less than a week!!

Hi went back to Fitbit and now sent it back to them there going to exchange for new one
