I got my Versa Lite the other day, setup went fine and everything, but I can't download apps or face clocks due to the app just getting stuck on loading screen or if I'm lucky, it'll say "To install this app, make sure the Fitbit app on your phone and your Fitbit device have latest update" or something like that.
I have the latest update for my Fitbit app.
I can't even try to update it with the Windows Fitbit App, because it can never locate or connect to my Versa via bluetooth.
Current firmware version is 38.33.1.30

You may want to hold off on any updates. The last update turned my Versa Lite into a brick. It was under warranty so I was able to get a replacement. I think there is a massive flaw or glitch in the latest firmware causing people to buy new watches.

Both my wife and I bought Versa Lites at the same time. Mine (blue) came from Lenovo and her's (magenta) came from Target. Her's came a week earlier than mine and is updated to 70.**.** (cannot recall exactly) so far. Mine has been stuck on 38.33.1.30 for at least a week, probably longer.
Not sure if vendor or color has anything to do with it, but who knows. I also don't see "All Day Sync" option unless I use the Fitbit app on Windows 10. For now, I'll see if that route will work (BT on Win10)
