Fitbit Versa Lite won't synch to get text messages, weather, etc

Hi there, @SumrGrl. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa Lite isn't syncing with your phone. I will do my best to help you with this! 

As a first approach, I suggest following the troubleshooting steps provided in this help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

If you manage to solve the syncing issue, the notifications and the other data not updating should start working. In case they are not, please see Why are notifications delayed or missing?
