Versa Not Compatible w/ my Moto Z Force

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I'm so disappointed.  Bought a brand new Versa only to find out that my phone (Moto Z Force) is not compatible.  I keep being told that Fitbit is working to correct these issues and make more phones compatible.  My Moto Z is not some cheap phone - it's a high-end phone and should be in the cross-hairs of Fitbit.  Anyone else echo my charge to Fitbit to make this a priority fix???

Sounds like a bit more homework before your purchase would have prevented this.

That reply doesn't deserve the dignity of a response!

I was told the same thing, but mine will sync but can't link up with Bluetooth to play music.  Hopefully they will fix this issue

Best Answer

I agree.  Mine will sync so I can view the dashboard, etc.  Just can't receive notifications or play music.

Best Answer

I get text notifications only but can't reply with versa.

Same with my husband. He loves the Moto Z2 Force. I won a gift card to the Microsoft store. I don't have one near, so I went online. Nothing I liked except the versa, so I got one for my husband and myself. I have an iphone, mine is compatible.

You can do everything except listen to music and texts? How? It would make it easier to wait to see if his phone becomes supported.

Now we just need someone from Fitbit to pay attention to our posts and do
something about this issue!!

I also just got a Fitbit Versa and have tried for hours to set it up with my Moto Z2, to realize it's not compatible! Very disappointed! Just spent $200 for nothing!

I don’t know why it’s not compatible, it’s not a rare phone!

Does anyone know how we can get them to add this phone to the compatible list? It isnt a rare phone.

Ikr...that would be awesome. I have to repair my watch with my phone to
sync data!

I have called Fitbit Customer SErvice and sent emails as well. I'd say the
more people that do this - the quicker they'll respond.

I've lodged my dissatisfaction with FitBit several times over the past 2 years since I switched to my Moto Z Force 2. As an owner of several FitBits over the years, I have been incredibly discouraged to see that the cry for support for my phone falls on deaf ears. Always the same response, "We are testing phones all the time - watch our supported devices list." I've been watching it for 2 years!

I will never buy another FitBit again. I also have a few Facebook Groups. I will tell my experience and my opinion. They may only lose a couple hundred customers, but I would rather go with a company that actually listens to their customers! This was my 1st and last Fitbit. It will just be a paperweight for my husband and I.

I'm with you - have not been lodging my dissatisfaction as long as you
have but with the same fervency and unfortunately with the same results -
or lack thereof.

What type of incompatibility are we talking about here?  Because I use a Moto Z Force Droid from Verizon and other than the total step count being wrong in the last 2 weeks and not always getting call notifications, I don't have any issues.

My Versa watch is not compatible with the MotoZ Force. It counts steps,
etc. - but I can't sync my messages , music, etc. with it.

YES!! I echo your plea to absolutely make this a priority!! I got my new Versa just a couple of hours ago after waiting, as patiently as I could, and now I sit here HUGELY disappointed!! I attend aqua Zumba classes several times a week & wanted desperately to have these logged. This would be my 3rd Fitbit tracker purchase and all of those worked on my Android. I'm just not feeling the loyalty I once did. I hate to return it, but see no reason to keep it. I'm certainly not buying a new phone. Is there an anticipated date for these to be compatible??
